Why do we need technology integration?

We need technology because it improves and enhances ours learning processes and outcomes, improve critical thinking and reasoning and It gives students an opportunity to interact with their classmates.Today technology is everywhere. It helps us how to drive, shop, play, socialize and learn. Correctly use of technology helps students to build 21st-century skills which include personal and social responsibility, strong planning, critical the strong communication, cultural understanding and decision making. 


What is successful technology integration?

Successful technology is all about having access and efficient use of the technology as a tool to provide students an opportunity to build a deeper understanding of content. This can be achieved only if the use of technology is accessible and readily available in each class to all students; it should be transparent, supports the curricular goals, and help students to achieve their aims.



Technology integration for a teacher: I teach art classes in a local studio, and one of my goals is to combine traditional drawing method with technology in a creative process. This brings excitement and keeps student motivated and engaged in the learning process. In my classes I use a projector, audio video tools and drawing software like Art Rage, Sketchup and The art zone. This method also brings the challenge for those students already considered successful.
